IN LOVING MEMORY OF

Kathy

7/25/1954 - 5/10/2024

We have lost our amazing Mother, Wife, Grandma (Mima), Family Member and Friend.  Our hearts are heavy and will forever have a hole in them.  She held our family together over the years in so many ways, we are forever grateful that she was ours for the time that we had.

Thank you to everyone that came out or contributed to her celebration of life.  We were so overwhelmed by the stories, pictures and more that we decided to keep her memorial website up to share all the photos, memories and video of her memorial.

My father and I are eternally grateful to all of you for helping us celebrate my mom and keep her memory alive.

Kathy Mortensen Scholarship

In the spirit of keeping Kathy’s life long impact paying forward.  We have established an annual scholarship in her name to support a student of the Carefree Church school programs she loved so much.  Thank you to all of you that helped boost the initial contribution this first year and we are excited to track her impact on future generations for years to come.

We are continuing to collect memories and photos in the spirit of growing my mom’s memory.  Click the button below to share.  Also, if you would like more details on her scholarship, please contact myself or my dad.

Thank you!

I want to personally thank every one of you for your time, love and friendship you had with my mother during her life.

I have been overwhelmed but not surprised at how many people she touched with her positivity.

In addition, special thank you for the support, love and especially time, that many of you have shared with my father.  He needs and appreciates all our support.

Me and my family appreciate everything as we adjust to life without her.

WE MISS YOU MOM, CHEERS!
